The LAPD announced its officers arrived around 2 a.m. to assist campus police in addressing the clashes that broke out between pro-Palestinian activists and counter-activists at UCLA late on Tuesday night and continued into Wednesday morning. Pro-Palestinian activists on campus have raised concerns about the relationship between Boeing and PSU, urging the university to refuse funding from the company. Unfortunately, there have been reports of harassment and attacks against Jewish and Israeli students and staff during the protests.
Recently, the NYPD arrested several pro-Palestinian demonstrators who had occupied a building on the Columbia University campus for nearly two weeks. Columbia University had warned participants that they could face expulsion for continuing the occupation.
