A woman steals a luxury car after pretending to be a buyer
A shocking incident was captured on video where a woman posed as a potential buyer for a 2022 Porsche Cayenne listed on Autotrader, only to steal the car by locking the doors and running over the owner in his own driveway.
The victim’s doorbell camera recorded the woman’s visit to his home in Toronto, Canada, where she expressed interest in the Porsche. However, she quickly got behind the wheel, accelerated out of the driveway, hit the owner, and dragged him into the street before fleeing with the stolen vehicle.
The suspect, described as a South Asian woman, arrived at the victim’s residence under the guise of wanting to inspect the vehicle. She claimed to be waiting for her father to join her.
In the video footage, the suspect is seen sitting in the driver’s seat of the Porsche while the victim tries to gain access to the locked car. Eventually, the suspect speeds off, causing harm to the victim in the process.
The victim sustained injuries to his elbow, hands, and legs as a result of the incident and required medical attention. The woman fled the scene in the stolen Porsche, with an accomplice in a gray Bentley Bentayga also implicated in the theft.
The shocking nature of the incident has raised concerns about safety and security when dealing with strangers during transactions. Authorities are investigating the case to apprehend the suspects and ensure justice is served.
